Hi everyone, I've been doing weight lifting for about 8 months now. Over the past couple months I've developed a strange symptom, a sort of strong click (feels similar to that of a rubber band snapping) in my abdomen, slightly on the left side a few inches above my belly button. It seems only to happen when I'm using the bench and sitting up after lifts. It only ever happens once in a workout and doesn't happen throughout the rest of it. I've read about snapping hip syndrome but the click is at the front of my body and not the back. Can it still be SHS? It's painless when it happens, more of a shock really. What do you guys think it could be. Many thanks
For my popping hips I had good results from [this]() band exercise and later using barbell glute raises and [this]() stretch. Your mileage may vary based on the specifics of your injury/imbalance though so having a doctor/specialist point out the specific issue will help you target it better.
